The organisations’ Charter

The “Charter of Lithuanian Organisations’ Commitments to Total Defence” is a practical preparedness standard for organisations. By signing the Charter, organisations voluntarily commit to carrying out at least two total-defence preparedness actions each year from the action plan the association provides. Participation is voluntary and public, progress is measured, and organisations earn the right to use the prepared-organisation mark.

How the process works

  1. Signing — the organisation signs the Charter

    The organisation signs the Charter and receives an annual action plan and the prepared-organisation mark.

  2. Choosing commitments for the year

    The organisation chooses at least two preparedness actions from the action plan the association provides.

  3. A consultation and a preparedness plan

    The association’s experts help draw up a preparedness plan tailored to the organisation.

  4. An annual visibility report

    A visibility report on the organisation’s commitments and the results achieved is produced each year.
